Ahmed Abdul Nasser Rabi, a 13-year-old Palestinian boy, was fatally shot by Israeli occupation forces during confrontations this evening at the northern entrance of Qalqilya in the West Bank, local sources have reported.
The sources said that young Rabi sustained critical gunshot wounds to the abdomen from live Israeli fire during the confrontations. He was rushed in critical condition to the Qalqilya Public Hospital, where medical professionals fought to save his life. However, despite their efforts, doctors eventually pronounced his death due to the severity of his injuries.
With the loss of young Rabi, the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli gunfire in the occupied West Bank since the morning has risen to four.
The latest developments coincide with a brutal Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip from the air, land and sea, which has so far killed 198 Palestinians, the majority of them civilians, and the injury of 1,600 others.
