i am a son of a greek immigrant whom came to holland since in greece was fuck all to earn, that how
good was the economy, and in 1999 we came back to greece where i have now a succesfull shipping company
with many many yankee dollars to spend, also i am employing a lot of greek people in my office.
anyway i am not a yankee so dont judge to quick since this allways is bad since you get hit now by things

The weather in holland is, in deed, a bit depressing, but the country itself is pure PERFECTION!
The architecture, in Amsterdam at least (which I have seen), is a gift for the eyes, even in the center of the city, everyone uses either the means of public transportation or bikes, despite the rainy weather. And trams/buses/pedestrians/bicyclists/cars move all together in perfer rythm. They have steet lights for the bicycles!!!
Most citizens are friendly and helpful, even if they don't speak English (which is pretty rear). In fact, I was lost using the tram, and an old lady with horrible english OFFERED to help me, because she said, I looked lost!
The Dutch culture lacks in cuisine... your food is a bit.... nothing. No taste. But, thankfully, there are very many restaurants with Italian/French/Greek(very common)/Chinese etc. to fill in the gap.

The men and women are far beyond the Greeks, genetically. They are taller, stronger and much more beautyful. And VERY good sailors.
